Favorite way to practice self-care:

I love to be in nature especially the woods. I practice meditation and mindfulness regularly. I exercise most days, either Pilates or walking.

Favorite hobby/interests outside of clinical practice:

I love to cook, hike, read, bike, and spend quality time with my spouse, children, and grandchildren. I love to travel, and I love to try new foods!

What you would say to someone who is on the fence about participating in therapy: 

The bravest thing you can do is ask for help. If you want to change, feel better, or to heal from what has hurt you, share the burden with someone who is here to walk with you through the journey.

unconditional positive regard, empathetic listening, problem solving
