Reconnect with your authentic self.

Intentional individual therapy is a client-centered, collaborative process that creates space for meaningful self-exploration. Working one-on-one with a clinician helps establish a foundation of self-care and emotional nurturing, allowing clients to build the awareness needed to challenge unhelpful patterns that may keep them feeling stuck. Successful therapy emerges from a strong partnership between counselor and client, where the clinician offers tools and guidance while the client engages in the internal work that supports a deeper reconnection with the self.

Counseling across the lifespan.

At Come As You Are, we recognize the importance of early intervention and consistent support across the lifespan. A phrase we often hear from adult clients when asked how long a concern has been present is, “As long as I can remember.”
This underscores why timely therapeutic support matters.

Child therapy focuses on proactively developing social–emotional skills before challenges grow into larger concerns. Early support helps children build resilience, emotional awareness, and healthy coping strategies.

Adolescence is a peak period for the onset of mental health challenges. Increased social pressures can contribute to anxiety, depression, and difficulty with motivation. Therapy offers a safe, nonjudgmental space for teens to breathe, reflect, and feel supported.

Adulthood often brings the resurfacing of unresolved childhood experiences, outdated narratives, and unaddressed patterns. As individuals transition from adolescence to adulthood, they may encounter new stressors and—even at times—new diagnoses. Therapy helps adults navigate these changes with clarity and grounding.

Geriatric clients may face stressors related to physical health, chronic pain, loss of independence, and existential concerns. Therapeutic support can offer comfort, connection, and tools for meaning-making during this stage of life.
